The Challenge
How do you rally support for a fight against...everything? In courtrooms across the country, the ACLU works to defend immigrants’ rights, reproductive freedom, criminal justice, voting rights, free speech, LGBTQ+ rights, racial justice, and more. But their scope is so broad, they struggled to communicate ACLU’s stance as a brand.
The Solution
We created a the brand message “We Show Up” which unified ACLU’s wide-ranging activism. This came to life in a 8-part video series highlighting the people showing up in streets and courtrooms. Shorter versions of the videos were featured on social media and in display advertising.
